Well, the only reason I asked is because I noticed a comment from someone which seemed to indicate that they knew who had given them karma points and how many. So I was just curious. That is all.
You're talking about my little signature here. The only reasons I always know who gave me the bad karmas is because
1) I know who are acutely irritated by me here, whether they got any reason or not.
2) I always know the time I get each of my karmas so I always have an idea who did it.
If it was a good karma, I wouldn't know whom although I can sure make good guesses (like I'm doing for the SAT critical reading section >_>).
Anyways, a karma, bad or good, doesn't indicate any good/bad behavior. It's just as corrupted as the anidb voting system only you cannot take advantage of good karmas, that is, say you got a problem with someone, you can just give him/her a -1. whether that person is actually behaving bad or not. A bad karma just reflects the extent to how the rest of the staff feel about you. Okay?
