It may or may not interest you to know I made QC encodes for 17 and 18 last night. So it MAY mean 17 and 18 won't be far off release then again it may not do. As always it's done when it's done.

I never really liked euro beat music, untill I started watching Initial D.  I think it just fits very well.. and it gets me pumped up when I'm driving fast.
I'm another one like that - I think it's a 'by association' thing.

I was doing a trackday at Silverstone (on the GP circuit) and suddenly realised I'd left the stereo on, with the 1st collection CD in it, so natural did it seem to be driving the track at speed to that music that I jsut didn't notice at first.

Especially on some of the tracks that remind me of certain parts of ID like Max Power - I always get visions of Takumi doin a Handbrake turn in the snow lol.

nothing,it still runs, its for a project, getting tired of the low power from the 12 year old 5SFE, not really feeling a turbo or id go with a 3sgte no problem.

See if you can get your hands on a 7AFE bottom end, and a 4AGE top end (silver top preferable). Put the 4age 20v head on the 7afe bottom, gives you a 7age (1.8L 20 valve engine). Slap a TD05 (start small, unless you want to go for a T66 GReddy off an older STi or similar), and she'll be good to 8,000 rpm with pretty much stock internals, and make about 350hp (give or take).

If you were to change the con rods and pistons, and possibly the crank (Don't really see why, the 7AFE crank is pretty good, the con rods are crap!), you could bump the revs up a bit, and the boost, and see yourself well over 400 (Or so the estimates go!)

Found this on some guys website, it's a "mock dyno reading", but should prove pretty realistic in practise
