Well you can get God status pretty quick. You need 3 steps.
1. Install Linux.
2. Run as root.
3. You are now God over that machine.

Of course I left out step 1.1 -bitching out the machine for taking 15 recomplies of the kernal. and step 1.2 Finding only a driver written by someone who speaks spanish to run your wireless card.

and a whole host of other charming enchantments of installing something that is intentionally left to make lesser people feel intemidated.

or to bypass step 1 and all the fractional steps to step 2, you can put in a Knoppix CD. It just works and any idiot can use it.

Again ROOT IS GOD. So I think we should try to set "ROOT" for the highest level you can get for posting in here.

Well for web surfing I try to log into a dummy account that has very few read and write priv. thus why I tend to get cranky when I HAVE to install something because I have to log out log in as Admin install it test it and then go back to web surfing. It gets harder to end up with crap you don't want when you have no right to install it. Such as yahoo updates, or ICQ for that matter.
