Unfortunately, the pig is no longer with us, he died a few years ago. You can read about it in the 'except for the pig' forum on this site. Without the pig, no further assistance can be provided on this matter.
I will say that clearing out the bears around Wolong is one of the few areas where Tuan Tuan and the others work in conjunction with the PLA.
From Tuan Tuan - "Other than that, I can't say we're on good terms with them (the PLA). But many Pandas are more than willing to turn a blind eye to their general lack of morals and brutality when it comes to the battle against local predators in and around Wolong, primarily other bears. Dangerous bears with sharp teeth and claws, carnivorous... predatory to the point of attacking nearly anything, Pandas included. Prior to the grudging acceptance of the PLA, it was not uncommon to hear that another whole family of Pandas had met their deaths at the hands of these predators. In the past, Pandas had been able to protect their ancestral home by banding together and fighting them off, but as civilization expanded, many bears were forced farther west and into Wolong... it was simply too much for Pandas to handle by themselves."
From Ling Ling - "I know we're supposed to live in enlightened times, and we do. But when it comes to those abominations who prey on Pandas, there's nothing like a good ol' fashioned Communist Death Squad to hunt them down and quicken their natural end. Some Pandas complain about being awoken in the middle of the night by the sporadic fire of machine guns, or the crushing of bamboo as they march through the forest, but I must confess, it always gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when I see the bloodied corpse of a [predatory bear] being carried off by soldiers to the garbage incinerator."
Perhaps one day, the pig will return. But until then, it will have to wait.
And Mercenaries are rarely employed by bunnies, except when absolutely necessary. The Black Bunny Brigade is a good example of this.
