When will the next release for Initial D Ep 17?

Dear all,

  so initial D ep 16 has been release after more then 2 month of delay. Anyway it's great that Live Evil is still continue to subs the anime.

  So i was wondering when will be the next Initial D ep17 be release? Although i have watch it with the subs by http://thewirdsdomain.com but the quality compare with Live Evil is like heaven and hell. Nobody can compare the quality of subbing by Live Evil.

  I hope Live evil will release it much earlier this time.

well may i hook me in here? sure as hell as everyone else i´d like to know when these eps will be out, be we already know the answer...its done when its done :D

just another thing, gumbaloom which you may can/want (to) answer or not :) : Can we hope for a double release or will 17/18 be released each on its own?

PS: i hope this question is allowed without gettin my ass kicked like those "when will i get teh new epis0des?" folks :p if not.. my bad ^_^

There are no specific plans for a double release. We're not professionals here with a  grand master plan. If ep 17 gets processed faster than 18 then it'll be released before 18, if both get processed at the same rate then it'll be a double release.

It's like called goin with the flow >_>

as much as i want to see these episodes i hope they do delay because even if only one person learns from it, it will have been worth the effort

I don't think people get it there isn't a grand plan about when ID4 will be finished.

We don't decide "Lets's release ID4 17 on XXth of XX".

Its a little more free form than that like once it's been QC'd, someone fixes the script then as soon as the encoder sees he has scripts to encode, he gets the scripts and does the encode and the release happens as soon as the encoder has uploaded it to the people who distro.

So like I've just started at a new school. What happens if we said to you all "We'll release ID4 on Tuesday night". But I come in from school and can't be bothered with the computer because I'm too tired from running around Manchester and Preston all day and don't encode and up it till Wednesday. All of you would start moaning "ZOMG you didn't release ID4 and you said you would you're SOOO cruel".

So we will NEVER give exact release dates to avoid such situations. Makes sense doesnt it ? -_-
